How To Submit Feature Feedback

At Time To Pet, we’re not just a software company. We’re former pet sitters, dog walkers, and business owners who’ve been in your shoes. That’s why every feature request we get from customers like you means the world to us. You’re not just sending ideas into the void. We’re tracking thousands of them, reviewing each one, and sharing them directly with our Product Team.

But we know it hasn’t always been easy to see what’s going on behind the scenes. That changes now.

We use a tool called Productboard to gather and organize your feedback. It helps us prioritize the updates and features that matter most to your business.

Submitting a New Idea

Have a feature you’d love to see in Time To Pet? Submitting a request is simple:

  1. Click the + Submit Idea button (in the top-right corner of the portal).

Note: If you’re reporting a bug or have a time-sensitive question, please contact us through the chat widget in your account or email us at support@timetopet.com. That’ll ensure the right team sees it quickly.

  1. Add a short title and description.
  2. Let us know how important this is to your business.
  3. Click Submit.

What Happens After You Submit

Every submission is reviewed by our Product Team. They work closely with our Customer Experience team to:

  • Identify patterns and trends
  • Evaluate the impact of each request
  • Reach out for more details when needed
  • Share workarounds or planned updates when available

While you won’t receive a confirmation email, once you click Submit, your idea is in the system and being tracked.

Voting on Ideas

You can also vote on ideas submitted by other Time To Pet customers:

  • Click any idea card to view the full details
  • Select how important the idea is to you
  • Leave a comment to share how it would help your business

Votes and comments help us gauge demand and make informed decisions about our roadmap.

Tracking Progress

The Feedback Portal is organized into three sections so you can see where ideas are in our development process:

  • Under Consideration – Ideas we’re actively exploring. This is where your votes have the biggest impact.
  • In Progress – Features that are currently in development or in active discovery.
  • Launched – Features that are fully released and available to all customers.

FAQs

Why can’t I see my idea in the portal?

Ideas aren’t made public until they’re reviewed and marked “Under Consideration” or beyond. If your idea isn’t visible yet, it’s still being reviewed behind the scenes.

Will I be notified after I submit my idea?

No email notifications are sent, but your submission is logged as soon as you click Submit. If your idea is implemented, we'll reach out with the good news!
