Feeding & Medication Logs

Running a boarding or daycare facility means balancing pet care with record-keeping requirements. Many states require detailed logs of feedings and medications given to animals in your care. Until now, you may have had to rely on separate systems to track this information.

With Feeding & Medication Logs in Time To Pet, you can now manage these records directly in your account, simplifying compliance and helping your team stay organized.

Key capabilities

With Feeding & Medication Logs, your team can:

  • Log what type of food or medication was given.

  • Record the exact amount or dosage.

  • Track the date, time, and the staff member who completed the task.

  • Add notes for special instructions or observations.

  • Monitor status: Scheduled, Completed, Overdue, Missed, Unavailable or Other.

Feeding and Medication Schedules are set on each pet's profile.

You can set up schedules on each pet’s profile by first navigating to the pet profile that needs a Feeding or Medication schedule added to it. When you add calendar events for a pet, Time To Pet generates the daily logs based on their feeding and medication schedules set on each pets' profile.

  • Click the Add Feeding Schedule button. Please enter all of the required information in the fields. Select "Save Schedule". Include start/end dates, instructions, and notes as needed.

  • Use the "Cancel" button if you didn't mean to add the Feeding Schedule to this pet.

  • Use the Delete Schedule if you need to delete the Feeding Schedule for this pet.

Add a Medication Schedule (e.g., Gabapentin, 1 tablet, twice daily).

  • Click the Add Medication Schedule button. Please enter all of the required information in the fields. Select "Save Schedule". Include start/end dates, instructions, and notes as needed.
