Time To Pet has partnered with Critter to help your business do more with the data you already have. The Critter x Time To Pet integration connects your operational data with marketing automation, enabling personalized client engagement, repeat bookings, and clearer insight into what's driving your revenue—without manual data entry or CSV exports.

How to Enable the Critter Integration
1. Navigate to Integrations and Select Critter
From your Time To Pet account, go to Settings and select Integrations.
2. Get Started
Click the Set Up With Critter button. You'll be taken to Critter's signup page to create your Critter account and start your 7-day free trial.
3. Complete Sign Up on Critter’s Website
Critter and Time To Pet are separate products, so you’ll have to create an account directly within Critter. All subscription costs will be processed through Critter and are separate from your Time To Pet subscription costs.
4. Authenticate Back to Time To Pet and Confirm Data Connection
Once you've set up your Critter account, you'll be redirected back to Time To Pet to authorize the connection.
If you're not already signed in to Time To Pet, you'll be prompted to sign in first.
Once signed in, you'll see a confirmation page asking you to approve the request to send your data to Critter.
Review and agree to the data sharing request.
5. Data Starts Syncing
Once approved, Time To Pet will begin pushing your data to Critter. Your historical data (one year’s worth or all historical data) will load as part of the initial setup, and ongoing syncing will keep everything up to date from there.
Token Management
When you approve the connection between Time To Pet and Critter, an API token is created for you. An API token is like a digital key that lets Critter securely access your Time To Pet data on your behalf. When you connect the two apps, Time To Pet hands Critter this key so it can automatically pull in your clients, pets, appointments, and other information—without you needing to export files or enter anything manually.
You don't need to do anything with the token itself; it works behind the scenes. But if you ever want to rotate your credentials, disconnect Critter or revoke its access, managing your token is how you do that.
Available Information About A Token
Name - this is the name given to your token
Client ID - the ID that connects your token to your account, effectively ensuring that only your data is pulled for your Critter account
Client Secret - this is a security measure used to validate request from Critter for your data
Scopes - any data that you approved to send to Critter are listed here
Status - current status of the token
Created Date - the date your token was Created
Rotating Tokens
Rotating a token is something that should be done for security purposes. You don’t need to do it often but should the need arise, you can select Rotate for the token connected to Critter
Revoking Tokens
Revoking a token will break the integration between Time To Pet and Critter, no data will sync after you have revoked a token. Should you choose to do this, we will present a confirmation screen prior to revoking the token.
