Updating Your Payout Account in Time To Pet Payments Powered by Stripe

When integrated with Time To Pet Payments Powered by Stripe, you may need to update your connected bank account/debit card used for payouts.

Updating Your Payout Method

To do this, navigate to your Stripe Express Dashboard found in Invoice Settings > Credit Cards and click "Stripe Express Login". Clicking this link will open a new Stripe window.

Once logged into the Stripe Dashboard, click the person icon in the upper right corner of the page.

Under "Payout details", click "TimeToPet":

From here, you'll follow a different set of instructions depending on what type of payout method you currently have saved. Click the links below to see the directions for your specific use case.

Choose Your Use Case:

I have a debit card saved and need to update it to a different debit card or bank account

If you currently have a debit card saved (rather than a bank account), click the pencil icon on your payout method.

You'll be prompted to confirm the current card information.

Once confirmed, you'll be prompted to choose whether you'd like to update it to a bank account or a different debit card:

If you have a bank account saved (rather than a debit card), you won't be able to remove or edit it without first adding a second payout method, and the second payout method must be a debit card. To do this, click the "Add an account" button below the bank account.

Then, add your debit card details, and save.

You can then set this new debit card payout method to be the default payout method.

This will allow you to edit the bank account method to remove it.

If you don't want the debit card to be used for payouts, you can edit the debit card payout method to update it to a bank account. Please see the steps under I have a debit card saved and need to update it to a different debit card or bank account for instructions on how to switch your payout method to a bank account.

Identity Verification

If you see a notice stating, "We cannot verify your identity", please read the section below.

The message would look like this:

Please contact Stripe support via Email, Chat, or Phone. Inform Stripe Support that you are an Express account owner on the "TimeToPet Platform" and you need assistance with updating your payout account. You will also need to provide:

  1. The full legal entity name of your business
  2. The last four digits of the legal entity TIN (commonly your EIN or SSN, dependent on if your account is registered as a business or an individual)
  3. If no bank account is listed, the last four digits of the payout debit card listed on the account
