Removing A Pet For A Client
If a client ever needs their pet removed from their account, you can do this right from the pet profile. Clients can also request that a pet be removed from their account, and you can process the request.

Removing A Pet From The Edit Pet Screen
To remove a pet for a client, go to the "Pets" tab of the client's profile and click "Edit" on the pet you want to remove.
From the edit screen, you will a button at the bottom of the screen that says "Pet Status". Clicking on this will present you with two options for removing the pet:
If the pet is marked as "Inactive," you will receive this pop-up window which gives you the option to remove the pet from any future scheduled events and notify the client of the removal:
If marked as "Deceased," you will receive this pop-up window, which gives you the option to remove the pet from any future scheduled events:
Please Note: If all pets are removed from a client profile, events must be manually canceled because they will still be scheduled, even without pets assigned to them.
Processing A Pet Removal Request
If a client requests that their pet be removed from their account, you will see a red notification next to the Approvals button on your side menu. Clicking this notification will open the "Pets" tab of your Approvals screen.
Below the "Vaccination Approvals" section is the "Pet Remove Requests" section. Here, you can see which pet(s) a client has requested be removed, read the note they left (if any), and choose whether to mark the pet inactive or deceased:

Reactivating A Pet
If you need to reactivate a pet, you can do so from the Past Pets section of the Pets tab in the client profile:

Q: My client accidentally submitted a pet removal request and doesn't actually want the pet removed. How do I delete the request?
There is no way to delete a pending pet removal request. You will need to go ahead and process the request by marking the pet inactive (be sure to uncheck the option that removes the pet from the schedule). You can then make the pet active again.
