Viewing Client Invoices
Client invoices can be viewed from their profile and in the "Details" section. To access the invoices, tap the "Invoice" button near the top of the profile page
The following page will list all "Open" invoices the client has. You can also adjust the view for "Open" or "Paid" invoices using the buttons near the top of the page.
Editing An Invoice
If you need to review or edit an invoice, you'll tap "Manage Invoice" from the Invoices section.
You'll then be brought to a view of the invoice's details, where you'll be able to edit various details within the Mobile App.
To edit a specific detail, tap the pencil icon or the field you'd like to update. From this page, you'll be able to edit the following:
Tip
Discount
Sales Tax
Invoice Note
Line Item Charges
Custom Line Items
Charging Invoices
From the Invoices section of the client's profile, you can add payments to their invoices using your company's preferred methods. From the mobile app, you'll be able to add manual payments or process payments using credit cards or ACH.
Adding A Credit Card Payment
If your company accepts credit card or ACH payments through Time To Pet Payments powered by Stripe, you'll add the payment using the "Checkout" button in the Invoices section of the Client's profile.
The following page will present a slightly simplified view of the invoice, listing the client name and their pets near the top, with invoice charges listed below. You will also have the option to edit service line items or add custom line items
Below the summary of charges, there will be a section for adding or adjusting the tip.
If a client already has a payment method on file for their account, you'll be given the option to charge this method, or you can add a credit card to their account.
When you're ready to process payment, tap the "Pay $XX.XX" at the bottom of the screen.
Adding A Manual Payment
Manual payments can be added using the "Checkout" button on the Invoices page or from the edit invoice page after tapping "Manage Invoice".
If using the "Manage Invoice" option, you'll be brought a screen where you can review and edit invoice details. At the bottom of this page, you'll be able to add a payment to the invoice. Another window will appear and payment details can be filled out.
Note: Only manual payments can be applied from the edit invoice page. Credit Card or ACH payment cannot be processed from the "Manage Invoice" page.
If you use the "Checkout" option, you'll be taken to a similar view of the invoice, where you can edit select details. At the bottom of this page you will select the type of payment you'd like to log and an option note can be applied. Once an option is selected, you'll tap "Pay $XX.XX" at the bottom of the screen.
Allowing Clients to Review Invoices and Approve Payments
When using the "Checkout" option for paying an invoice through the Mobile App, a "Client View" button will be shown near where you can add a tip and payment.
The "Client View" option takes you to a screen where the client can review charges before submitting payment. For example, this page can be used when a client is checking out from a grooming service or the pet has been returned to the client after other types of services. The "Client View" will include service line items and a section for adding a tip.
Once the client has verified and reviewed their charges, they can tap "Approve $XX.XX) which brings you back to the business-facing payment screen for applying the payment using your company's preferred methods.
