Time To Pet is a very complicated cloud-based system. Because entities in Time To Pet are so interconnected (one client may be connected to staff members, events, pets, custom rates, services, and more), permanently deleting individual items can lead to breaking some of those connections and can cause unexpected errors in your system. Marking a staff member, a client, or a service as inactive will essentially delete them (as they will not have any access to your system) without the risk of breaking a connection.
Deleting Your Personal Data In Time To Pet
If you wish to delete your Time To Pet account and associated personal data, the process involves submitting a request and confirming your identity. The following sections outline the steps, timelines, and special considerations for account deletion.
Time To Pet handles account and personal data deletion manually to ensure proper security compliance, including GDPR and CCPA requirements. If you wish to delete your Time To Pet account, follow these steps:
Submit a Deletion Request: From the email address linked to your Time To Pet account, send a request to support@timetopet.com clearly stating that you wish to delete your account and all associated data.
Email Confirmation (Double Confirmation): To ensure account security, a secondary confirmation is required. Reply to the confirmation email to verify your ownership of the account and consent to the deletion.
Account Cancellation Requirement (if applicable): If your account is active, first cancel it through the Billing section of your account by clicking your profile image in the upper-right corner, navigating to the Billing section, and following the cancellation prompts.
Manual Deletion Process: Once your double confirmation is received, the support team manually processes the deletion. This process typically takes 7 to 10 business days from the time of confirmation.
Confirmation of Completion: After your data is deleted, you will receive a notification confirming the process has been completed.
