In this article, we will share how companies can use Tap To Pay to process invoice payments. This can be a convenient option to accept in-person payments from a client using the Mobile App.
Tap To Pay is currently supported only on Android devices. Support for iOS Devices will be made available at a later time.
Tap To Pay supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover (US), Interac (Canada/Android), and digital wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
Note: Tap To Pay is only available to companies connected to Time To Pet Payments.
To process a client's payment, navigate to their profile and tap the "Invoice" option near the top of their profile.
On the following page, tap "Checkout" with the invoice that the client would like to pay.
On the following page will be a summary of the invoice. If needed, items can be edited using the pencil icon. When ready to accept payment, tap the "Tap To Pay" button at the bottom of the screen.
The following page will show the total payment to be processed. This can also be adjusted for cases of partial payments. The client's card or digital wallet is tapped against the device to complete payment.
A Note for Apple iOS users: If using Tap Pay on an iOS device, users are required to opt in before processing their first Tap To Pay transaction. This will appear as a screen with information about the feature. The user/admin must agree to Apple's Terms of Service for Tap To Pay before proceeding. If the terms are declined, the prompt will continue to appear, and Tap To Pay cannot be used.
When the payment has been completed, the app will show that the payment has been successfully processed.
