Using Portal Notifications For Announcements
In Time To Pet, there are two places to add announcements for your clients to view when they are logged in to their portal or app. The first is the "Portal Notification", the second is the Portal - Service Request Form.
These features are useful if there is an important announcement about office hours such as, "Jane's Dog Walking Office is available Monday-Friday from 8 am-7 pm" or for holidays, "Please submit all service requests for Holiday Visits by 5 pm on December 15th" or closures "We will be closed Thanksgiving Day."
The Portal - Service Request Form is particularly useful if you have an announcement that pertains to requesting services. "Pack walks are available Monday-Friday from 10 am-2 pm" or "Please leave a note with your request with your travel details."
The Portal Notification feature can be utilized for general announcements. When activated, you can add a custom message that will show at the top of every page in their client portal. You can add a portal notification here: Client Settings -> Portal Settings.
The "Portal - Service Request Form" can be set in Company Settings -> Messaging. This message will only show when the client is requesting services on their "Schedule" tab.
