Updating Your Payout Account in Time To Pet Payments Powered by Stripe

When integrated with Time To Pet Payments Powered by Stripe, you may find it necessary to update your connected bank account/debit card used for payouts. The following help doc will review this process.

Updating Your Payout Account in Time To Pet Payments Powered by Stripe

First, navigate to your Stripe Express Dashboard found in the Invoice Settings > Credit Cards section. Clicking this link will open a new Stripe window.

Once logged into the Stripe Dashboard, click the person icon in the upper right corner of the page.

At the bottom of the "Account" tab, you should see a section to view and edit the information that Stripe needs to help you get paid (this section is called Payout and Professional Details). Look for the "Time To Pet Settings" option:

On the following page, there will be a section for updating your payout account. Click the pencil icon with the account you would like to update.

If you see a notice stating "We cannot verify your identity", please read the section below.

If you are notified that Stripe/TimeToPet can not verify your identity, please contact Stripe support via Email, Chat, or Phone.

The error message would look like this:

Please inform Stripe Support that you are an Express account owner on the "TimeToPet Platform" and you need assistance with updating your payout account. You will also need to provide:

  1. The full legal entity name of your business
  2. The last 4 digits of the legal entity TIN (commonly your EIN or SS# dependent on if your account is registered as a business or an individual)
  3. If no bank account is listed, the last 4 digits of the payout debit card listed on the account
