After activating your staff account, you will be able to access Front Desk Mode and sign into the Time To Pet Mobile App. While you can complete many of the necessary tasks for your Facility within Front Desk Mode, you can now use the Time To Pet Mobile App to view scheduled services, easily access client profiles and scheduling tools, manage invoicing, communicate directly with your clients, and more! In this article, we'll review each feature available in the Time To Pet Mobile App for Facility Staff.
Note: Some features may not be available to you depending on your role within the company and your company's settings and configurations.

Downloading The App And Signing In
The Time To Pet Mobile App is available for free download in both the Apple App Store (for users with iOS devices) and the Google Play Store (for users with Android devices). You can use the direct links above to be taken straight to the App's page in each respective app store, or you can type Time To Pet in the search bar on either app store to bring it up. The Time To Pet Mobile App should show as the first result to download.
Once you have downloaded and installed the Mobile App, opening it will present you with a login screen. Use the email and password you created when activating your Time To Pet Facility staff account to sign in and access the Facility Staff App:
Tip: If your employer uses both our In-Home and Facility software (and you are listed as a staff member on both platforms), or you have multiple staff accounts using the same email address and password, you will be prompted to select the account you would like to access upon entering your login credentials. For more information, please see our help documentation here: Clients/Staff With Multiple Accounts In Time To Pet.
Home Screen (Schedule)
After logging in, the first thing you will see is your Schedule, which serves as the Mobile App's homepage. If you are an Administrator or a Scheduler, you will see all of the events scheduled for that date (and the respective spaces that they have been assigned to.
The service type, client, and names of the pets assigned to the event will be shown, along with the time duration for that event. You can also edit the events displayed here by tapping the pencil icon with the visit's status listed next to it:
The Feeding & Medication tab, which is also available on this screen, will allow you to view and edit the feeding and medication instructions that have been outlined for each pet. You can also change the status to Completed, Unavailable, or Other, mark the time the food or meds were given, or jot down any necessary notes. Just tap directly on the pet's info card to pull up the Edit screen for that particular feeding or medication log:
Note: Due to the way scheduling operates in Facility, with events being assigned to spaces instead of staff members, Techs/Runners and Trainees cannot currently review their scheduled shifts, the spaces they've been assigned to, or the events assigned to those spaces within the Mobile App. Instead, they will need to access Front Desk Mode through their device's web browser. For more information on this mode and how to navigate it, please see our help documentation here: Facility: Front Desk Mode & Using Time To Pet Facility As Staff.
Notifications
To access the Notifications Center of your Mobile App, click the bell icon in the top righthand corner of the screen:
Here, you will see two tabs: Messages and Notifications. You can view all of the messages sent to you from your company's Admins in the Messages section of your account, and any notifications you're subscribed to will be displayed in the Notifications tab:
Clients
Along the bottom of the home screen, there are several tabs, including one labelled Clients. This tab contains a list of all the client profiles you have access to:
Note: If you are an Office Manager or Administrator, you will have access to every client profile.
Select a client from the list to open up that specific client's profile. By default, you will be taken to the Details tab, which will contain an overview of their pets, any flags you've assigned their profile, and any custom client fields that you've created for your company.
Along the bottom of the screen, a new selection of options will appear, allowing you to access the Conversation Feed for that client, the profiles of any pets that have been added to their account, their scheduled services, and any documents that have been uploaded to their profile:
Client information can also be managed through the Mobile App. You can add clients, filter for clients by status or Flags in the Clients, or edit client and pet information. Depending on your staff role and permissions, you can also manage invoicing and scheduling for a client from their profile in the Mobile App, as well.
Note: Only Users/Staff that have permission to edit client and pet details will be able to add or manage clients and pets they have access to through the Mobile App. Pease see Facility: Staff Roles And Permissions for more information.
To add a new client, navigate to the Clients section of the Mobile App and tap the plus sign icon in the upper righthand corner of the screen. This will direct you to a form where you can add information about the client. Once you have entered the client's details, tap Add New Client at the bottom of the page. If Yes, Send Welcome Email is checked, this will also deliver a Welcome Email to the client:
You are also able to filter your Client List from within the app. To do this, tap the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner. You'll have the option to filter your list by the flags added to the client's account or whether a client is active or inactive:
Note: Staff/Users can also use these filters. When filtering by flag, they will only see the flags they have access to for their role. When filtering by status, they will only see the active or inactive clients they have been assigned to.
To edit a client's information, navigate to their profile. Tap Edit Profile near the top of the page to be taken to a new screen, where you can update the client's details. To add a pet for a client, click the plus symbol in the Pets section at the top of the client's Details tab. You'll then be brought to a form where you can enter information about the pet and save it to the profile. To edit existing pet profiles, navigate to the Pets section of the client's profile by tapping the paw icon at the bottom of the screen:
Time Tracking
If hourly tracking is enabled for your company, the Time tab will be available along the bottom of the mobile app's home screen. You can access the tab by tapping directly on the clock icon:
Note: For detailed instructions on how to track your time in the Staff App, see our help documentation here: Facility: Staff Time Tracking.
General App Settings
The last tab that you can access from the main page of the Mobile App is the Settings section of the App, which contains both general app settings and the Notifications Center, which we will describe in greater detail in the next section:
In the Settings section, you can toggle on and off the following settings:
Show Completed Events - This toggle determines whether or not completed events are shown in the Schedule section (the home screen) of the Mobile App.
Use Low Accuracy GPS - Enabling "Low Accuracy GPS" may be useful if you need to conserve battery life or data, but will result in less accurate GPS tracking.
Note: GPS Tracking is not available for the Facility platform, but if your pet care company uses our In-Home software too, this setting can determine how accurate GPS tracking for those services is. For more information, see our help documentation here: Enabling GPS Tracking.
Confirm Before Sending Message - When enabled, you'll be prompted to confirm that you want to send a message when you click the "Send" button on messages to clients.
In-App Camera Images Save To Gallery - When enabled, Time To Pet will save the images you take with the Time To Pet app to your device's photo gallery.
End-Of-Visit 5 Minute Warning - When enabled, Time To Pet will generate a push notification to your device when there are five minutes left on an event timer.
Note: Time tracking for visits is only available for the In-Home version of Time To Pet. For more information on it, see our help documentation here: Mobile App Configuration.
Notification Settings
Within the Settings section of the Mobile App is the Notifications tab. In the Notifications tab, you can toggle specific types of push notifications that you will receive to your Mobile App to On or Off:
Note: Depending on your company's Permissions settings, you may or may not be able to edit which push notifications you receive. You may also see different notification types depending on staff role.
Side Menu
To access the other areas of the Time To Pet Mobile App, you will want to use the Side Menu, which you can open by tapping the three horizontal lines in the upper lefthand corner of the screen:
Doing so will open up the side menu:
Note: Depending on your staff role, permissions, and which products your company uses, your side menu may look different than the screenshot above.
Documents
This section of the Mobile App contains any documents that your company Admins have uploaded to your account. Some documents are global documents that are visible to all staff members, while some are specifically uploaded to a user's profile, and are only visible to the Admins and that staff member. You can view these documents by opening up the side menu and tapping the Documents tab:
Messages
The section of the Mobile App contains your Staff Conversation Feed and is where you can view any messages exchanged between you and your company's Admins. You can view your messages by opening up the side menu and tapping the Messages tab:
Note: Messages with clients cannot be viewed in the Messages section of the Mobile App. To view client messages in the App, you will need to navigate to their profile. For Admins and Office Managers, to view messages from all clients in one place, you will need to access the Message Center in the web version of your Staff Dashboard.
Time Off
To view your scheduled time off or request new time off, tap the Time Off tab on the side menu of your Time To Pet Mobile App:
