Splitting A Pending Request
Time To Pet will group all pending requests by a client onto one invoice for ease of processing and to avoid making any assumptions about your or your client's preferred billing cycle. It is possible to take one large pending request and approve specific services into an already existing invoice for the client (See Pending Requests - Processing Pending Requests for more information on how to do this). If, however, you want to break a large pending request into smaller ones, each of which will go on a new invoice, splitting a pending request is how you do it.

Split A Pending Request
Once you have loaded a pending request for processing, select the "Split Request" option (to see a list of options click the arrow next to "Edit Request"):
There are four ways to split a request:
Automatically By Month: Time To Pet will automatically split the request apart by month. Each month will be split into its own new request (and thus invoice).
Automatically By 15th of Month: Time To Pet will automatically split the request apart by the 15th of each month. The 1st-15th and the 16th-end of each month will be split into their own new request (and thus invoice).
Automatically By Week: Time To Pet will automatically split the request apart by Week (Sunday - Saturday). Each week will be split into its own new request (and thus invoice).
Manually: You can pick and choose which services to split into a new request.
Once you have split a request, all new requests will be available in the Pending Requests table.
To allow Time To Pet to split your request for you automatically, select either Automatically By Month, Automatically By 15th of Month, or Automatically by Week and click "Preview Split". This will allow you to preview how the split will take place first:
If the split looks good, click the "Split Request" button to finalize the split.
To pick and choose which services to split into a new invoice, select the "Manually" option. The next screen will present you with the current request on the left and the new request on the right. To move a service from the existing request to the new request, click the "Split" button. To move it back, click the "Back" button.
When you are happy with the new request, click the "Split Request" button.
