Viewing Notifications On Your Mobile Device
Time To Pet can be configured to send push notifications in order to keep you up to date about upcoming events or updates about client information. This article will help clarify where and how these notifications will appear on your mobile device. Notifications behave differently on Android and iOS devices, scroll down to find out more information about the operating system you are using.
You can also always see your current notifications in the app with the in-app notification center: Notifications Center In Staff App.
Notifications on iOS Devices
iOS notifications are viewed and managed using the Notification Center on your phone. The Notification Center can be accessed when the phone is locked or by pulling down from the center of the screen.
Time To Pet does not currently support the red dot notification count on the app icon, so once the notification disappears, you will need to view your Notification Center to access it.

Here is what a notification will look like on your locked screen. You can also access the Notification Center by pulling down from the center of your screen when the phone is unlocked.
When you receive a Time To Pet notification it will briefly appear on your screen. Tapping the notification will take you to notification's action, such as a client message or updated pet profile. You can also swipe left or right on the notification to bring up an option to clear the notification.
Notifications on Android Devices
Android notifications are viewed and managed from the notification panel on your phone. When you first receive a notification an icon will appear at the top of your phone in your status bar. You can then access the notification panel by pulling down from the center of the screen. You also view notifications from the lock screen on your Android device, as long as that option is enabled in your settings.

Here is what the notification icon will look like in your status bar. You will also see a notification dot on the app icon.
